BMW LAUNCHES NEW APP AHEAD OF LONDON 2012

BMW has launched the new BMW London 2012 iMagazine App for iPad and Android tablet devices to bring you exclusive content featuring the BMW London 2012 Performance Team ahead of the London 2012 Games.
As the official automotive partner of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, BMW and its dealers are backing over 100 British athletes across the country through the BMW London 2012 Performance Team initiative. The new iMagazine App, launched 27 November, looks to celebrate this partnership by bringing exclusive content about the athletes to your tablet device.
Retired rower James Cracknell, one of Britain’s most successful athletes of all time with two Olympic gold medals and six World Championship titles, takes on the role of host on the iMagazine App. Right now, you can see him interviewing fellow retired athlete and Olympic medallist, Steve Backley, about his involvement in the Performance Team and his role as an ambassador for the Games.
Swimmer Rebecca Adlington, rower Tim Brabants and Paralympic athlete David Weir also feature in the iMagazine. These elite British athletes share their thoughts ahead of the Games and talk about how, like BMW, they are focussed on delivering ‘Ultimate Performance’.
