Position: Group MINI Marketing Assistant

Here at Halliwell Jones (Chester) Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a Group MINI Marketing Assistant. The position is located at our Chester Centre which is a fantastic modern facility. On offer is a competitive salary, ongoing training and great career progression opportunities.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the main objectives of the post are to:

  • Attend meetings and take part in conference calls with Scott Green Head of Business, Group Marketing Manager and Sales Managers to help plan events and campaigns.
  • Execute the campaigns by the chosen channels; direct mailer, email and text campaigns.
  • Assist in the planning of product placements and partnerships for the MINI brand.
  • Visit MINI Centres to discuss localised marketing ideas and initiatives.
  • Assist in ensuring that a meaningful and proactive MINI customer contact plan is maintained.
  • To carry out reports for the Managing Director, Heads of Business and Managers relating to marketing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Update the group website and retailer websites with current MINI Sales offers and content.
  • Update the marketing planners with marketing spend and results.
  • Order MINI Graphics.
  • Assist the group social media marketer with MINI content all for social pages for the company – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
  • To assist with any other duties within the Marketing area i.e. Halliwell Jones Reward Card.

Essential criteria for the position includes:

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Experience communicating with Senior Managers.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • An enthusiastic, dynamic and team orientated personality.
  • Team player that offers help and support to others.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office).
