BMW Group wins Low Emission Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year

The Fleet Hero Awards showcase manufacturers and suppliers that have successfully lowered emissions and reduced fuel bills for fleets in the UK. As organisers celebrated the event’s 10th anniversary at the London Transport Museum on 26 November, BMW Group was awarded the title of Low Emission Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year.

The award celebrates the BMW i3’s outstanding efficiency, low carbon footprint and carbon fibre structure that provides a much longer electric-only range than conventional Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs). Drivers can also benefit from its compact proportions, excellent manoeuvrability and spacious interior.

Dave Tuckett, Corporate Customer Operations Manager at BMW Group, commented: “Our primary function as a company is to make sure our customers are happy, and to provide the sustainable transport they need.”

Halliwell Jones Warrington is the Agent for BMW-i electric vehicles. Our showrooms on Winwick Way showcase the BMW i3 and i8 models.
