Here at Halliwell Jones (North Wales) Ltd we have exciting opportunities for Non-BMW Certified Vehicle Technicians. The positions are located at our North Wales Centre which is a fantastic facility consisting of a recently modernised Aftersales Centre and BMW and MINI Sales.

Your Responsibilities


  • To carry out service, diagnostic and repair work efficiently and competently 
  • To complete repair orders to Manufacturer standards, including service check sheets, battery test reports, printouts when required from manufacturer’s diagnostic equipment and all other necessary reports.

What we're looking for


  • To carry out work provided competently and within the times laid down by the Repair Instructions, or to time acceptable by Service Manager.
  • To attend internal and external training courses, as directed by the management.
  • To read and understand all health and safety risk assessments applicable to your job role and working environment.
  • To keep their place of work in a tidy and clean condition, with particular attention to cleanliness at the end of each working day.
  • To advise the Workshop Controller, Service Adviser or EVHC Specialist of any additional work necessary on a car during service.
  • To ensure parts of Warranty Claims are retained and drained of oil, where necessary.
  • To ensure exchange and warranty parts are returned to Parts Department when required, obtaining signature from Parts Advisor.
  • To be prepared to work overtime, with reasonable notice, if requested by the management.
  • To ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service.
  • To maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of
  • vehicles.
  • To make full use of Manufacturer Special Tools, Diagnostic and Information systems, Service Equipment and training as provided to improve customer service levels and workshop efficiency.
  • To ensure that special tools are always returned to their correct location within the workshop.
  • To maintain thorough and current Product Knowledge and read all Service Information
  • and Service News bulletins as supplied by Service Management. This also includes the complete understanding of the Manufacturer Intranet system.
