OUR LATEST COVID LOCKDOWN STATEMENT

Due to the recent restrictions announced by Government, we are having to change the way we operate to maintain the safety of both our customers and staff. As a business we will be fully operational but with a few changes.

Our showroom facilities will be closed, but we will continue to operate with virtual showrooms using video presentations, email and telephone to deal with any enquiries. Customers will be able to use a ‘click and collect’ facility along with home delivery where possible. Handovers will continue outside in a socially distanced and COVID safe environment. Product specific ‘how to’ videos can be sent to help familiarise customers with their new vehicles.

Our Aftersales departments will see little change due to the social distancing measures, protective screens, face masks, key drops and cashless payment processes already implemented over the last few months.

Thank you for your continued support during these very difficult times and please be assured we are constantly developing the way in which we operate. Our aim continues to be of providing a service in a safe environment for our valued customers and staff.

Be assured we are still here, but we are evolving to ensure we all stay safe.

MASKS TO BE WORN AT ALL OF OUR CENTRES

At Halliwell Jones we are following Government policies strictly to ensure everyone is safe. From Wednesday 2nd of December if you are planning to visit any of our Centres you will need to wear a face mask.

If you are not wearing a mask, you will be provided one by, however it is advised to bring your own.

We’re providing hand sanitiser for everyone and will be abstaining from handshakes. All our Technicians will be changing gloves and washing hands after every car handled.

To maintain the social distancing guidelines outlined by the government, we have changed the layout of our centres so that customers and colleagues can be at least 2 metres apart at all times.

In addition to our normal cleaning schedule, further cleaning measures will be put in place including a focus on car touch points, so you can jump right in without worry.

If your BMW or MINI requires a service or repair, our service centres are here to carry out all work safely. We ask that you arrive at your specific appointment time, and that, if possible, you arrive by yourself to help minimise the amount of people visiting us at any given point.

Need to wait in reception? No problem. We have provided hand sanitiser for you to use when entering and leaving the area, as well as customer flow stickers to help keep to 2-metre social distancing, however, no refreshments are currently available.

In addition to carrying out the necessary work, our Technicians will use a vehicle protection pack and disinfect all touch points, including your key. They will also be changing gloves and washing hands after every car handled.

When your vehicle is ready for collection, your free health check video will be sent to you, and any repair or invoice explanations will be done via phone or video call. Protective gloves will be provided if you need to pay by card. Contactless mobile payments are also now available.

We’ll carry out the check-in process over the phone just before your visit. If you rather us meet you at your vehicle when you arrive instead of going to service reception, simply let us know during this call and we’ll be happy to do so.
