What is a Kia MOT?
An MOT is an annual roadworthiness test required by UK law for any vehicle over three years old. The test checks that your car meets the minimum safety and environmental standards set by the DVSA.
During the test, a qualified technician inspects a set list of components including your lights, brakes, steering, tyres, exhaust, bodywork, and driver visibility. The test does not cover the mechanical condition of the engine or general wear and tear - those are assessed as part of a service.
At Halliwell Jones, every Kia MOT is carried out by Kia-approved technicians. You can book your MOT up to one calendar month before your current certificate expires without losing your renewal date.
