Halliwell Jones is seeking a motivated Assistant Aftersales Manager to help oversee the daily operations of the Aftersales department, including Service and Parts at our Southport centre.

Working closely with the Aftersales Manager, you will play a key role in driving performance, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the department runs efficiently and profitably.

You will support, coach, and motivate the team, helping to maintain a positive and results-driven environment. Your Responsibilities


  • To ensure the department provides the best possible service to the customers and achieves agreed profits and retention levels.
  • To organise, direct and control the activities of Service Department staff to achieve Plans and Budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial and personnel resources.
  • To contribute to the development of all operating and administrative policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of all tasks smoothly and in a timely manner.

What we're looking for


  • Possess a track record of high achievement within the aftersales/service arena.
  • Ability to work alongside a strong company management team is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to motivate a team, and a strong understanding of systems and processes are essential for this challenging role.

  • Excellent sales, communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Possess an outstanding attitude and passion for customer service with proven customer service skills.
  • An enthusiastic, dynamic and team orientated personality that offers help and support to others.
  • Willingness to learn and develop and keep up to date with complex/ technical/product information.
  • Ability to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Drive).
  • Full valid UK driving licence
