To celebrate we have supplied Warrington Wolves with a new MINI Electric which will be utilised by the club as part of their sustainability project and their work with the community.
Here's Wolfie and Shaun Briscoe the Commercial Account Manager at Warrington Wolves collecting their MINI Electric from Luke and the team at MINI Warrington.
“Halliwell Jones is delighted to have extended our stadium partnership with Warrington Wolves for a further five years. We fully appreciate the commitment of the club with the launch of their sustainability project and are more than happy to support them in achieving their goal by providing a new MINI Electric.” - Jim Houghton (Sales Director Halliwell Jones)
The Halliwell Jones stadium is equipped with a bore hole to help reuse rainwater via the sprinklers located within the pitch. In addition, there are several solar panels on the South Stand roof which allows them to generate their own energy. The club also use rechargeable mowers and environmentally friendly pitch paint. They plan to introduce EV charging points, reusable cups for concourse beverages and reduce single use plastic in their catering kiosks.
“We’re delighted that we’ve extended our long-standing partnership with Halliwell Jones and this activation is just one of many planned as part of the renewal. We have also launched a huge sustainability project based around Magic weekend that will heavily feature Halliwell Jones in conjunction with Primary Schools and community teams to raise awareness around going green.” - Shaun Briscoe (Commercial Account Manager at Warrington Wolves)
