Halliwell Jones has officially confirmed its participation in the 1000 Miglia five‑day endurance rally through Northern and Central Italy, running from 17 to 21 June 2025.
A two-man team will be driving one of the most coveted sports cars of its era, a 1938 Fraser Nash BMW 328. Purchased in 2023 by Halliwell Jones, the Frazer Nash BMW 328 is now in its third recorded ownership since new.

MEET THE DRIVERS.
Driving this historic machine is Phil Jones, Aftersales Director at Halliwell Jones alongside co-driver Stuart Middleton, Chairman of the Warrington Wolves rugby club, forming a two‑man team that blends motorsport enthusiasm with regional sporting leadership.

FIELD OF OVER 400 CLASSIC CARS.
First run in 1927, the 1000 Miglia challenges competitors to conquer public roads, mountain passes, and precision time trials. This year’s field of over 400 classic cars will tackle five demanding legs:
17 June: Brescia to San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna)
18 June: San Lazzaro di Savena to Rome
19 June: Rome to Cervia – Milano Marittima
20 June: Cervia - Milano Marittima to Parma
21 June: Parma to Brescia

Ahead of the rally start, Halliwell Jones is inviting the public to preview the Frazer Nash BMW 328 at three of its BMW retail centres in May:
Wilmslow: 8–9 May
Chester: 12–13 May
Warrington: 15–16 May
Visitors will have the opportunity to inspect the car and share in Halliwell Jones’s passion for automotive heritage before the rally’s dramatic start in Brescia.
