The all-new BMW 2 Series Coupé Revealed

The M240i Debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

BMW made a long-awaited return to Goodwood Festival of Speed 2021, which took place from 8th - 11th July 2021.  Festival attendees were able to discover the very latest BMW M Models and the world premier of the new 2 Series Coupé.  As part of the premier the crowds at Goodwood were also treated to seeing the new M240i Coupé go up the Hillclimb.

Paul O’Neill is joined here by BMW UK Product Operations Manager, Charles Turner to explore the model highlights of the new 2 Series Coupé at the festival.

Debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

BMW is opening a new chapter in its tradition of super-sporty compact models.  The new BMW 2 Series Coupé embodies sporting prowess with a focus on an athletic design, powerful engines and sophisticated chassis technology.

A new eye-catching front end featuring triangular forms and diagonal lines makes for a striking look to the all-new BMW 2 Series Coupé. Flared wheel arches and a muscular power dome at the centre of the bonnet give a clear indication of the car's pure driving pleasure.

Compact dimensions and an intelligent lightweight design give the car a distinctive driving dynamic. Almost perfect 50:50 weight distribution and optimised aerodynamics enhance the car’s abilities in everyday driving and give that unmistakable BMW character.

The new 2 Series Coupé will be available in the UK from early 2020.
