BMW Proactive Care
Small problems, spotted small
Proactive Care watches the data your BMW is already producing and looks for the things you wouldn't notice yet — a battery losing its edge, brake wear reaching its limit, a fault code that hasn't become a warning light.
When something needs attention, you hear about it. Not weeks later at your next service, and not at the roadside. You get a message with what's been found and what it means, and an offer of an appointment before it turns into a bigger job.
That's the point of it, really. A worn part replaced on a Tuesday morning you chose is a very different experience from the same part failing on the M56.

How it works
Your BMW keeps an eye on itself
Onboard sensors track wear, condition and fault codes as you drive, and share that data securely with BMW.
BMW works out what matters
The data is analysed and sorted by urgency, so a routine service reminder and a genuine problem don't arrive looking the same.
You get told
A notification through the My BMW app, email, text or a message straight to your car's screen. If it's urgent, a BMW expert calls you directly.
We get you booked in
Choose Halliwell Jones as your service centre and the details come through to us. Our technicians know what they're looking at before your car reaches the ramp, and any parts needed can be ordered ahead of your visit so the job gets done in one go rather than two.
Where the alert lands
What it means at Halliwell Jones
An early warning is only worth having if someone acts on it quickly. That's our end of the arrangement.
