A replacement vehicle after a mechanical breakdown, where you're eligible.
Overnight stay
If your car can't be fixed the same day: up to £150 per person or £500 per group, whichever is lower.
Taxi
Local onward travel up to £100 including VAT.
Before you call
- Get everyone out of the car and somewhere safe, away from traffic
- Note exactly where you are, such as a road name, junction or what3words
- Have your registration number ready
- Be ready to describe what happened and any warning lights you can see
