The first BMW M3 Competition Touring with M xDrive combines the high peformance of a BMW M3 with the flexibility and functionality of a Touring.
In addition to exclusive design highlights on the exterior and in the interior, the BMW M340i xDrive Touring and the BMW M340d xDrive Touring offer a balanced range of performance, comfort and efficiency.
Optional M Carbon exterior styling underline the athletic elements of the vehicle. Spoiler elements in the front bumper and exterior mirror caps are made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP). The package is rounded off by a striking carbon-fibre diffuser insert at the rear.
The M Carbon ceramic brake delivers braking power even more directly. The brake is non-corrosive and tolerates even more heat. It impresses with minimal wear and contributes to a lower vehicle weight, having a positive impact on agility and driving dynamics. The special technical equipment is visible through caliper
The rear of the new BMW M3 Competition Touring is defined by the distinct rear bumper with diffuser and the twin tailpipes on either side.

The M Carbon steering wheel provides a racing feel. The carbon-fibre trim strips in the spokes surround the operating elements and complement the high-quality feel of the steering wheel. The racing-tested material fits the dynamically designed interior visually, too.
The M Carbon bucket seat with illuminated M3 logo combines the racing character of a bucket seat with the comfort of an M sport seat. It is lighter, electrically adjustable and has visible carbon surfaces. The backrest and seat bolsters have cut-outs for multi-point belts and the head pad can be removed for driving with a helmet.

The BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features superior power delivery and the striking characteristic M engine sound. Two mono-scroll turbochargers, direct High-Precision Injection, fully variable valve control and variable camshaft control offer high performance.
With its large track width and broadly flared wheel arches, the suspension is optimised specifically for M. It offers high performance handling and increases the performance and response of the new M3 Competition Touring.
BMW M xDrive with Active M Differential offers high traction and driving dynamics for everyday driving, as well as at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive. You can choose between the drive variants 4WD, 4WD Sport and – in DSC-off mode – 2WD.
