M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.
The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic offers several shifting options: athletic, comfortable and fuel efficient. You can shift manually using the gear lever or the gearshift paddles, or select one of three automatic programmes using Drivelogic.
M xDrive.
With a choice of 4WD, 4WD Sport and – in DSC-off mode – 2WD, BMW M xDrive with Active M differential delivers maximum traction and driving dynamics for both everyday driving at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive.
M Carbon ceramic brake.
With the optional M Carbon ceramic brake, the use of braking power is more direct, corrosion-free, and even more heat-resistant. It also contributes to weight savings, which has a positive effect on agility, dynamics and acceleration. Available with calipers in Gold matt with M lettering, there are plenty of reasons to stare at this masterpiece.
M Compound brake.
M Compound brakes, which achieve outstanding deceleration values, are extremely stable and weigh less. What’s more, the brake calipers come in Red, Blue or Balck with M lettering, which adds an extra layer of sportiness.
M Sport exhaust system.
The M Sport exhaust system delivers a dynamic sound that can be modified via the integrated exhaust valve mechanism. The SPORT and SPORT+ programmes, which can be selected via the SETUP button, are accentuated by an even more intense engine sound, while the comfort-oriented programme prioritises more discreet engine acoustics.
