Halliwell Jones (Chester) Ltd is looking for a Group Finance Support Manager to join our team at our Chester Centre on Sealand Road.

Your Responsibilities


  • Support the Group Finance Development Manager to achieve budgeted Group performance
  • Assist with the development and training of Sales staff within the Halliwell Jones Group for new and used vehicles sales process and finance procedures.
  • Support the Group Finance Development Manager to carry out regular audits relating to compliance, sales and finance procedures
  • Cover Retail Sales Managers where required in their day-to-day duties where required.

What we're looking for


  • Proven track record as a Retail Sales Manager/Business Manager within the Automotive Industry.
  • Knowledge of financial packages, accessories and insurance products.
  • Excellent customer service and organisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Reliable and focussed.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Lead by example
  • Ability to question and challenge constructively where appropriate.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Experience communicating with Senior Management.
  • Knowledge of Drive and Microsoft packages.
  • Willingness to work weekends as required.
