On Sunday, Halliwell Jones Motorrad Chester proudly hosted the Chester Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026, welcoming riders from across the North West and North Wales for this global charity event in support of the Movember Foundation.
What is the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride?
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brings together classic and vintage-style motorcycles, riders dressed in their finest attire, and a shared purpose: to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.
What began as a niche celebration of motorcycle culture has grown into a worldwide movement, with riders in over 1,100 cities taking part in this year’s 15th anniversary event.

Chester once again played its part in style, with a fantastic turnout, a brilliant community atmosphere, and a shared commitment to a cause that continues to make a real difference.
We are delighted to share that the Chester ride has now raised £8,803 for the Movember Foundation, with over 420 donations received so far. Donations are still open, and contributions continue to come in following the event.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, supported, and donated, and to Anna and Dave for helping organise and lead the local ride.
From polished classics to modern machines, the day was a true celebration of motorcycling, community, and purpose.
