Barry Burrell Celebrates BMW F 900 R Cup Victory at Oulton Park
There was plenty to celebrate at Oulton Park this weekend as Halliwell Jones-supported rider Barry Burrell secured victory in the BMW F 900 R Cup at his home circuit.
The 12-lap race delivered an exciting battle from lights to flag, with Barry crossing the line just 0.027 seconds behind the race leader. Following post-race technical infringements, Barry was awarded the victory, making it a memorable result at one of the most iconic circuits on the Bennetts British Superbike calendar.
Bringing the Track to the Fans
The Halliwell Jones Motorrad paddock display attracted plenty of attention throughout the weekend, giving race fans the opportunity to get up close to the road-going BMW F 900 R.
Sharing the same DNA as the championship race bike, the F 900 R offered visitors a unique opportunity to see how the production model translates from road to race track, while chatting with the team and soaking up the atmosphere at Oulton Park.
