What a phenomenal day it was at the War of the Roses Under 13s Girls Rugby League Festival! Held in Warrington, this incredible event brought together over 300 young players from across the region — and we at Halliwell Jones MINI were so proud to be part of it as the official Event and Referees Sponsor.
From the moment we arrived, the energy was electric. The pitches were alive with cheers, laughter, and the unmistakable buzz of community spirit. It was a joy to see so many talented girls showcasing their skills, supporting each other, and representing their clubs with pride — proving that the future of women’s rugby league is not only bright, but booming.
This year’s festival was the biggest and best yet, and we’re honoured to have played a small part in making it happen. We’d like to thank Warrington Girls Community Rugby League Club for organising such a fantastic event and creating a space where young girls can grow in confidence, teamwork, and love for the sport.
We also want to send our best wishes to any players who picked up injuries on the day — we’re thinking of you and hope you make a full and speedy recovery.
