We are thrilled to have supported the Countess of Chester Duck Race 2024 by sponsoring the event’s raffle, which helped raise an incredible £31,200 for their Retinal Eye Scanner Appeal. This vital appeal is set to make a real difference to the lives of many, and we’re proud to have been a part of this important cause.
As part of our sponsorship, we entered two ducks into the race, with one donated to a local primary school. The event, held along the picturesque River Dee, was a perfect day out for families, filled with laughter, fun, and community spirit. The creative costumes on the ducks added to the festive atmosphere, as participants and supporters from the local community turned out in full force.
While our very own "Mr. Bean" duck unfortunately didn’t make it to the finish line, the thrill of the race and the energy of the day were more than enough to keep us entertained. A special shout out goes to the fantastic team at Highfield Community Primary School, who beautifully decorated our second duck, the Centurion Halliwell MINImus. Though their duck didn’t fare much better in the race, we couldn’t have been prouder of their effort and creativity.
It was a pleasure to sponsor the raffle, knowing that the funds raised will go towards such a significant cause. We're already looking forward to next year’s event and another chance to race our ducks while supporting The Countess Charity.
Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a memorable day, and a huge congratulations to all the winners!
