In response to the latest restrictions imposed on the UK government’s electric vehicle (EV) grant, Kia UK has announced the launch of its own Electric Car Allowance, offering £3,750 towards the purchase of select electric models.
The Kia Electric Allowance directly matches the government’s revised grant, which is only available on vehicles priced at or below £37,000 meaning prospective EV owners continue to have access to meaningful financial support when transitioning to electric mobility.
Two models will be available for the allowance; the multi-awarding winning Kia EV3 Air (World Car of the Year 2025) and the brand-new Kia EV4 Air, which is available to order now with delivery in Autumn 2025.
To qualify for the £3,750 allowance, customers must be retail buyers financing the vehicle through Kia Finance using a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) agreement.
