In addition to our usual cleaning practices we have made a number of changes to keep our facilities as clean as possible. These measures include regular disinfection of all surfaces throughout our centres. Whilst your vehicle is in our care we will ensure all common touch points in the vehicle are disinfected and protective coverings are placed on the seats, steering wheel and gear selector. Hand sanitiser stations are also provided throughout our centres.
We have introduced a number of extra pieces of protective equipment to protect both our customers and staff. All of our staff are provided with protective gloves to prevent contamination when coming into contact with vehicles and equipment. These gloves are changed regularly during the day alongside regular hand washing. In addition to the protective gloves worn by staff, we have made gloves accessible to customers should you wish to use our self check-in machines. All customer advisor desks have now been fitted with clear protective screens.
How our new process works
You can book in for your next service using our online form. Once completed the from a selected your desired date, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm a specific appointment time. It is important that you keep to the appointment time as this will help us maintain appropriate social distancing and efficient drop off and collection for all customers. We kindly request that where feasible you drop your vehicle off by yourself.
Before You Arrive
Ahead of your arrival you will receive notification via phone or email confirming your appointment and asking you to check-in. Once this has been completed you can choose to use our designated drop off lanes or our self service machines. We ask that you remove any other items from your keychain to assist us with disinfecting your keys.
When you arrive for your pre-arranged booking, please follow signage to one of our designated drive-in lanes. One of our team will greet you from a safe distance and instruct you on what to do with your keys. They will also give you an estimated time of when your vehicle will be ready. If your chosen centre doesn’t have a drive-in service please park in one of our customer parking bays and follow signage to reception. We also provide self-check in machines for you to use if you prefer, these are located art reception and will guide you through the process.
Protecting Your Vehicle
Once we have received your vehicle we’ll apply protective coverings to key areas of your vehicle including the seats, steering wheel and gear selector. All our team members wear protective gloves which are changed with every vehicle alongside regular hand washing. Whilst your vehicle is with us we’ll send you a detailed video walkthrough of your vehicle. We will also contact you to explain what work is required and answer any questions you may have. In preparation for collection all coverings are removed the vehicle and a disinfection of key touch points can then be carried out.
When you return to collect your vehicle a member of staff will greet you and direct you to where your vehicle is parked. To help maintain good social distancing practice we now offer contactless forms of payment. Should you require the use of a card machine, we’ll provide protective gloves to use the pin pad.
