The BMW X3 was the car that launched the mid-size SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) segment in 2003. The all-new BMW X3 is set to write the next chapter in this success story with an even more striking, dynamic design language, powerful yet also efficient drive systems and luxurious appointments. Like all members of the successful X family, it blends standout driving qualities on any terrain with unrestricted everyday usability.

The third generation of the BMW X3 follows in its predecessors’ tyre tracks by combining rugged off-road looks with a sporting presence. The potent dynamic intent of the new BMW X3 is highlighted by a chunky kidney grille and foglamps featuring a hexagonal design for the first time on a BMW X model.

The interior of the new BMW X3 displays unbeatable fit and finish, material quality, and is even classier and more luxurious than its predecessor. On sale from 11 November 2017, prices start from £38,800 On the Road.

The new BMW X3’s exterior and interior have received a complete redesign, with particular attention paid to enhancing its sophistication and versatility. Brand new features such as the Phytonic Blue exterior paintwork – currently only available for the new BMW X3 – premium Vernasca leather upholsteries and Adaptive LED headlights and taillights lend the vehicle an extra degree of exclusivity.


Every model in the new BMW X3's line-up benefits from BMW xDrive and an Automatic Gearbox as standard*. And thanks to the BMW EfficientDynamics strategy, which includes BMW EfficientLightweight construction, the new BMW X3 proves that greater efficiency and lower fuel consumption does not mean that power has to be sacrificed.

Taking a closer step to the fast-approaching future of autonomous driving, the new BMW X3 is available with a host of optional ultra-modern driver assistance systems. For example, the optional Driving Assistant Plus allows for up to 30 seconds of automated driving in certain situations, such as traffic jams, slow-moving traffic or on long journeys


Expected to be available from December 2017, the BMW X3 M40i pushes boundaries in the areas of performance, agility and stability. Driving pleasure intensified.
